World That Never Was takes place in the not-so-distant future when Earth has been polarized between two political alliances and stands at the brink of a global civil war.  While Earth's two factions, the United Republics of Earth and the Oceanic Alliance, continue their downward spiral towards war, a scientist named Dr. Nicholas Kreon makes an incredible discovery.  His creation of artificial anti-gravitational fields gives mankind the ability to reach Mars and beyond, but it also gives the Earth one more way of destroying itself.  Dr. Kreon watches with horror as his discovery, intended for the benefit of all human beings, is used by his own government to launch a new world war.  Earth then reaches its darkest night when an insane dictator also gains control of the new technology and threatens to use it to destroy the planet unless all the countries of the world surrender to him unconditionally.  As the world waits to see what could be its final hour, Dr. Kreon's close friend and colleague, Dr. Christopher Arthur, finds a way for Kreon to change it all...
